Stella students start with Full Flight Simulator training on the Boeing 737 Next Generation
Graduates of Stella aviation academy started their training in Istanbul last week on a simulator of the type Boeing 737-800 as a preparation for the type rating training at a Turkish airline company. These graduates were recently employed at Pegasus Airlines and Sun Express.
The trainings are given at the International Flight Training Centre Istanbul (IFTC Istanbul). At IFTC Istanbul (a training centre with a Dutch-Turkish management) training courses are given on the latest simulators for aeroplane types Boeing 737 NG and Airbus A320.
Managing director Evert-Jan Hilgeman: "In consultation with Pegasus Airlines and Sun Express our graduates started their training at the IFTC Istanbul. It was a very conscious decision to work together with this modern training centre. Apart from this cooperation, we are also investigating whether we can and want to set up a Turkish aviation school together with the Turkish IFTC."
Graduates of the Stella aviation academy have become airline pilots at airline companies such as Pegasus Airlines, Sun Express, AirBerlin, Lufthansa, Condor, Transavia.com, VLM, Ryanair, KLM and Easyjet.
