Checklist
English
Dutch

No matter where you are in world, when you’re in the air, English becomes your native language.

It’s a practical solution. Say you are flying to Bahrain or Moscow. You are preparing for landing. Air traffic control asks you to perform a certain manoeuvre. It helps if you understand one another. The language spoken by pilots might sound a bit strange to you at first, but you’ll pick it up during your training.

So it’s essential that you speak and understand English and Dutch. It comes in very handy when you fly to Bahrain or Moscow.
