Since the very first time that I flew in a plane, I knew that I wanted to become a pilot! I must have been about 4 years old. I always wondered how it was possible that such a large and heavy object could stay in the air and fly. I want to have a varied job and want to see many things in the world. A job as a pilot is ideal in this respect.

My parents were first surprised that I had chosen this course and this job. Because it is not an ordinary job. But now they know that it is something that I love to do and they support me completely. My friends have been enthusiastic right from the very start!

You have to think really well whether you want to follow this course or not, because it takes a lot of self-discipline. If this not a problem for you, I am sure that you will complete this course! And perhaps you will also have your First Solo later, which I found very exciting. It was the first time that you had to do everything on your own. I actually did not mind so much that I wasn’t the first person of the class that had to fly solo. It meant that I could prepare myself a bit.

The reason that I decided to choose Stella is really quite simple. I was greatly attracted by the personal atmosphere. It is a kind of social ‘event’ that you have with each other at school. Flying is a passion that you have for the rest of your life. I think that I will have many friends when I have completed my course.

I hope that I can be employed by a large airline company later, but a job as a private pilot would also be fantastic.
