Is it hard to find an independent source which can tell you how many pilots are needed, when they are needed and where.
The best source is the Boeing Commercial market outlook. The aviation training market has the same ups and downs as the airline industry but follows the trends generally a year later. The fact that your training takes at least 2 years makes it even harder to predict.
Stella agrees with the view of Boeing that there will be a need for properly trained pilots in the next decade with the main emphasis on the Middle East and Asia with a lesser extend in Europe.
